Headmistress Weasley walks into the Quidditch equiptment supply room, followed by Perpetua. She hands Perpetua a rag and a bottle of broomstick wood polish.

"I would like you to start over here, " Abigail motions to one end of the room, "and work your way along the wall. Do you have any questions?"

perpetua, a little annoyed at being in detention by the headmistress who married a weasley, the filthy blood traitors, says with a mild sneer, "yes do i polish it up and down like this? or back and forth? if i polish it too fast the polish shoots off of the top, is this right?"

Perpetua has the broom standing upright, held steady by her knees polishing it up and down at a medium pace.
